Very limited lilium species which can thrive in hot tropical climate and this one definitely one of the rare species survive in tropical. Plant height around 50cm. Thin stem, should use some support during flowering. This lily best put in partial shade, Veranda/front porch with morning sun is perfect location.
This lilium like daily watering, no problem if you forgot to water it in a day or two. Forgot to water for 1 week, the plant will lose its leaf but still survive.
Photos taken on 16 Oct, the bud already reach 15cm. Single Flower. I hope it will reach 22cm when blooming. I will take complete plant photo at this weekend, when the sun still shining.
Oh, my friend said it name is Lily of Madonna.
