Dendrobium Hybrid NOID

Bought this dendro in bud. Considered small dendro since bulb height around 10 to 12 cm. It has 2 flower stalks (2 + 4 buds) in a single bulb; first time blooming.

Flower size quite big 6.5cm maybe this effects the flower count.

Grt Why Not Walk

Guaricationia Why Not Walk has similar stature as its parent Cattletonia Why Not. The difference only on the color which is purple and flower size slightly bigger than why not.

Flower come in cluster, hardly any below 5 buds. 

Plant size vs single flower size definitely not my favourite ratio.  The seller said that this plant has longer lasting flower than normal cattleya and it is easily give flower stalk. Ok that are good reasons already for me to buy this one. 

I know that multiple flower stalk already put a good show and waiting for my plant to give 3 stalk. 

Potinara Maurin

When I wake up, this potinara already full bloom. Sweet light purple color.

Compact plant, falls under little cattleya group. The bulb around 10cm tall.   Easily flower more than 1 bud. My plant had 4 buds earlier but due to heavy rain only 2 that survive.

Flower size is medium around 6cm.

Dendrobium Hybrid 1 - NOID

This hybrid has sweet pink tone. First time blooming presented 5 buds.

The plant falls under mid size category, the cane around 20 cm tall with quite big leaf.

Grow fast but i doubt this dendro will fit to beginner care since the plant is easy to rot.

The flower size is standard for dendrobium which is 7 cm. In cluster they can behold your breath.

Dendrobium Sonia

Dendrobium Sonia is a classic one. Exist in the market more than 20 years ago.

This is very popular plant for hotel and offices decoration. Attractive red purple color. Many flower count and or course very long lasting flower, more than 30 days stays open.
Nowadays, there are several varieties where plant height and flower size is vary.
My plant is short type one. First time flower 7 buds. Plant height around 12cm.
Flower size is standard Sonia 7.5cm (Big).

Yellow Mini Cattleya (No ID)

Just purchased this mini cattleya today. Nothing special on this catt excep the two tone color of its petal. Yellow and light yellow colour of the petal, but not very extinguish. The height of flowering bulb around 7cm so saving my growing place.

After 3 days the colour become darker. The 2 tone of petal yellow color become more visible.

Dendrobium Enobi

This dendro falls under miniature category. Bulb height is less than 10 cm. Can shoot flower stalk when the bulb only 6cm tall.

First time blooming already present me with 2 flower stalks in one plant. Flower count per stalk is 8.
Definitely prolific bloomer and a must have item for miniature orchid collector.

Before I forgot. The price of enobi around 2 to 3 times of regular dendrobium.  I bought mine at Rp. 60k (around USD5).  The price has dropped significantly. Compared to the price of enobi 3 years back, the price now is less than half.

With many flower count, this species can decorate any home for weeks....

Lc Sweet Sugar

This catt is mini type.  Short bulb around 8 to 10 cm. Solid yellow colour with contrast red lip.

The flower almost over, so the seller discount the price to Rp 80k (around USD6)

Matured plant with 2 buds.

I hope the bud will be more in the next blooming season.

Dendrobium Paragon (Hybrid)

This dendro has short bulb.  Bulb height around 15cm.  Sturdy flower stalk. The flower itself quite big around 6 cm wide.

After the flower season is over I plan to change the medium with charcoal (Currently is Kaliandra, which is a bit slow to dry)

Eye catching, bright color and does not require much space. Recommended for beginner.
